Tusculum to host Breast Cancer Awareness Game this Saturday versus North Greenville

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum College has designated this Saturday's home football game with North Greenville University as Breast Cancer Awareness Day.  The game kicks off at 1:30 p.m. from the Niswonger Sports Complex and Pioneer Field.

The Pioneers encourage fans of Tusculum and North Greenville to wear pink to Saturday's game in recognition of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Representatives of the College will be collecting donations throughout Saturday's game for breast cancer research.  Breast cancer survivors will be recognized during pre-game ceremonies.

There will also be a canned food drive at this Saturday's game.  Fans donating four non-perishable food items will receive one free admission to the game.  All food donations will benefit the Community Ministries Food Bank and Tabernacle Missions Food Group.  This project is sponsored by the Tusculum Psychology Club in conjunction with the Center for Civic Advancement.
