Tusculum to hold Spring Football game this Saturday

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College football team will be hosting its annual Spring Game this Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. on the Greeneville campus. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Head coach Frankie DeBusk has just completed his 16th season at the helm of the Pioneer football program, where he has amassed 86 victories, which are the most in Tusculum history and the third most in South Atlantic Conference history.

Offensively, the Pioneers return nearly its entire receiving corps from the South Atlantic Conference's top passing attack, including All-America receiver Justin Houston and All-Region tight end Wesley Powell.

Defensive back LiRonta Archie will lead the Tusculum defense after posting 76 tackles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries in 2013 for the Pioneers.

The Pioneers also return the top seven scorers from last year's squad, including Logan Cornelius (55), Fernando Smith (54), Justin Houston (48), Isaac Robinson (48), Deon Hicks (44), Jonathan Diliberto (36) and Wesley Powell (26).
