Baseball game with Lee moved to Wednesday

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Due to the threat of inclement weather, Tuesday's non-conference baseball game between Tusculum University and Lee University has been postponed 24 hours and will now be played on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. from Pioneer Park.

The Pioneers (17-13) are coming off a weekend series win at Lincoln Memorial as TU is third in the South Atlantic Conference standings. Tusculum has won eight of its last 10 games and have gone 7-2 in their last three weekend SAC series.

Lee (22-8) is riding a four-game winning streak including last weekend's three-game sweep over Christian Brothers University and move into a three-way for first place in the Gulf South Conference.

This will be the 19th recorded meeting since 1975 that the Pioneers and Flames have squared off on the baseball diamond. The series is deadlocked at nine wins for each team (9-9).

Following Wednesday's game, Tusculum will continue its five-game home-stand when they host SAC co-leader Wingate University for a three-game series this Friday and Saturday at Pioneer Park.
