KODAK, Tenn. --- Thursday's SAC Baseball Championship elimination game between No. 7 seed Tusculum and sixth-seeded Newberry has been postponed due to rain.
The Pioneers and Wolves will face off on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Smokies Stadium. The winner will face No. 2 seed Wingate at 5 p.m. on Friday in the double-elimination portion of the tournament.
Thursday's first elimination game was completed prior to the rain arrival with No. 8 seed Anderson upseting No. 5 Lenoir-Rhyne, 16-2. Anderson will face top-seeded Catawba on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with No. 3 Carson-Newman and No. 4 Lincoln Memorial completing day two of the tournament at 8:30 p.m.
The tournament will continue on Saturday and Sunday with the championship game slated for 1 p.m. on Monday.
