TAMPA, Fla. --- The Tusculum University beach volleyball team dropped its first two matches of the Florida swing against Division I UNC Wilmington and Division II powerhouse Tampa by finals of 4-1 and 5-0, respectively.
The Pioneers return to the sand on Wednesday (March 11) at Eckerd for a doubleheader battle against the Tritons, starting at 2 p.m.
In the match against UNC Wilmington, the No. 3 pair of Haley Davis and Stephanie Cho picked up the Pioneers' lone win of the day by scores of 23-21, 13-21, 15-10. All others, including the exhibition showing, went down in consecutive frames.
