WILMINGTON, N.C. --- The Tusculum University women's beach volleyball team wrapped up its Atlantic Coast trip where the Pioneers played six matches in three days.
TU concluded play at the UNC Wilmington Dig & Dive Beach Classic as they dropped a 5-0 decision to the host Seahawks and later lost 5-0 to Florida Gulf Coast University.
The Pioneers (4-9) are back in action next weekend as they will play two matches each against arch-rival Carson-Newman as well as Eastern Kentucky University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. TU will play Saturday at Carson-Newman at 9 a.m. followed by a 12 p.m. contest against EKU. Next Sunday, TU will face Eastern Kentucky at 9 a.m. and face host Carson-Newman at 3 p.m.
