Moraux, Au named Zaxby's Athletes of the Week

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum University football receiver Corey Moraux and volleyball libero Amiranee Au have been named the Zaxby's Athletes of the Week.

Moraux, a senior from Moncks Corner, South Carolina, made a 90-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter which proved to be the game-winner in Saturday's 30-28 victory over Anderson. Moraux finished the game with two catches totaling 101 yards. His 90-yard reception is the longest in program history and also the longest play from scrimmage ever by a Pioneer.

Au, a senior from Knoxville, Tennessee, recorded back-to-back 30-dig performances as the Pioneers went 1-1 in conference play last week. She posted 34 digs in TU's five-set victory at Limestone. She followed with a career-best 35 digs in a 3-2 loss at UVA Wise the following night. She averaged 6.90 digs per set while also tallying four service aces in the win at Limestone.

The Tusculum University Athlete of the Week Award is sponsored by Zaxby's, located at 3280 Andrew Johnson Highway in Greeneville. The Zaxby's Athlete of the Week Award honors one male and one female athlete each week from an in-season sport.
