Hurricane Irma threat cancels women's soccer and men's golf road trips

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum women's soccer and men's golf teams have announced schedule changes for this weekend and early next week.  Both changes involving the potential path and threat of Hurricane Irma.

The Tusculum women's soccer team's matches in Milledgeville, Georgia against Columbus State on Friday and Georgia College on Sunday have been cancelled.  Tusculum and Columbus State will play on Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. in Greeneville as originally scheduled.

The Pioneers (2-1) will be in action again this Wednesday (Sept. 13th) when they host in-state foe Lincoln Memorial at 5 p.m. from Pioneer Field.

The Tusculum men's golf team's season-opening tournament at the Kiawah Island Invitational in South Carolina, slated for Monday and Tuesday has been cancelled.  No make-up date has been scheduled at this time for Kiawah event.  The Pioneers will open the fall campaign Sep. 18-19 at the Queens University of Charlotte Invitational in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
